Recently saw a post somewhere about a memory care/dementia activity regarding playing cards placed on a foam board with contact paper and then different individual things for a dementia resident to do with it but I can't remember where I saw it or the games to offer with it. Anyone have ideas?
Hi Beth Here is an idea that Diane had A quick game I always carry with me26 cards each one with the alphabet letter. If news and views is too doom and gloom I will finish off with the alphabet cards. i hold up a letter and ask for a "Flower" starting with P. A colour starting with B. . The list is endless with such a simple game.. The cards are in very large bold print to assist the hearing impaired. I also have the questions to hold up. this. At times can be to confusing with the two cards. Of course this can be played also on a white board.. Some of my clients come up with a few funnies I know this isn’t what you were thinking out but you may like to use it https://www.goldencarers.com/pairing-sorting/3777/ I thought this was it but probably not but You may like it https://www.goldencarers.com/games-for-people-living-with-dementia/4779/
