We had a group of art students paint murals for our fence in our Secure unit. This was so beautiful and a great way to get connect within the community.

One way to get children to participate in activities with elders is by contacting your local school. Ask to speak to the Art Teacher and inquire weather a group of children could come to do a project at your facility. They can paint, sing, act and do craft with residents once a fortnight.
