we do a tea party every year. This is one of our biggest events. We serve finger foods, mainly dessert type of things and make our dining room as girly as possible.
In years past we would have a brunch in our atrium for the mother’s and their family members. During brunch the mother’s would receive a #1 mom button and a bouquet of flowers.
We also do a Mother's Day tea with finger foods and a variety of different teas. We invite everyone to bring a picture of their mother or their children and to share stories. It some times starts a little slow but once they start talking it is just amazing to see how they light up and get involved in sharing memories.
Thank you for your fantastic resources which I have utilised for some time now for the Golden Age Club which our church has run for almost 40 years. Thanks again, you provide a very valuable service which in the years to come will no doubt be more relevant as our population ages.
Thanks!
