An interesting subject like all ideas posted. I had my first overseas journey in 1947 when I was part of the New Zealand Boy Scout contingent to the 6th World Scout Jamboree in France, the Jamboree of Peace following World War 2. Since then I have made many more trips to World Scout Jamborees as well as other excursions of business and pleasure but none as memorable as the first overseas journey of my life.
