Hello everyone. Just wondering if anyone has tried to make a Easter Egg Wreath. Hot gluing the eggs maybe a challenge. I have volunteers to help, which is wonderful. It looks easy, but???
Good morning everyone Wondering if anyone has any cleaver new ideas for high school students to do with seniors (alert, and active) for approximately 2.5 hours. all ideas are appreciated.
Love all the great ideas. Love Golden Carers. I have used so many of your ideas since I started and all with great feedback with staff who like to join in too. What a difference I have seen in the residents, more joining in because of giving them time to express what they like to do and always offering for them to join in, whatever the activity. Having so much to offer but not overwhelming them, just a little at a time and someone will show their enthusiasm to give it a try. Thank you Golden Carers.

There are a couple of ideas

I find that people can get bored when having to sit or doing an activity for 2 1/2 hours
I like to break things up by having a music break or a reminiscing break
Probably will have to adapt and modify these activities to meet your needs
