I do something similar, but I get a silicon muffin tray cut out circles with the points written on them and resident tosses coin and then we add up the score. I have run tournaments with the 1:1 residents who are not wanting to participate in groups but are very happy to participate "at a distance" in a group activity. I have also used this for our in house olympic games with great success.
