Remember September is Fall Hat Month. It is a great time to have a Red Hatters Meeting and/or show off the ladies red hats. Another idea is to invite members of a local chapter to visit residents at your facility
that's is a wonderful idea, Thanks for sharing, I guess we can try in our facility. Regards

I formed a Group at the Nursing home and one of the resident's wives made me some hair comb fascinators and some other fascinators using cardboard and tulle.
The ladies all had names and we asked families to get them some purple tops.
Went well for a few years, unfortunately we have to begin again as the original members have mostly passed on.
I even joined the Red Hat Society in USA and got heaps of information from them...next time I join I can wear purple as I've passed 50!!!
I appreciate the time and effort you put into finding and creating activities for seniors. I especially appreciate the freebies as I am a volunteer which implies I do not receive a paycheck so I really count on the free items your site offers and put them to good use at the PC and Dementia facility I volunteer at.
