Hello. I'm looking for some fun picnic ideas to do with my seniors at the dining centers. We have many group picnics scheduled. Ladderball, bean bad toss, are the most common, but something that will keep my active group happy. Any ideas or suggestions? TYIA
We are havingf an apple peeling contest using potato peelers 3 residents at a time and first to finish goes into the semi final. We are also using butterfly nets ($2.00 each) and again 3 at a time using soft squishy balls the resident that catches the most goes into the next heat. The staff will compete in the egg and spoon race, sack race and also a ribbon twirling dance. We are making the olympic torch from gold cardboard and using red cellephane for the flame. Staff will wear sporty clothes as residents always enjoy more when everyone goes a little crazy.
